Full-Spectrum Frankincense: Our Process

Our unique, multi-step extraction captures the full character of frankincense, including meaningful levels of naturally occurring boswellic acids.

We use two complementary methods. One draws out the deeper resin components known to calm visible inflammation, smooth the appearance of fine lines, and support the skin’s natural renewal. The other preserves the lighter aromatic qualities that bring comfort and balance to both skin and senses.

The result is a true full-spectrum frankincense infusion that supports skin longevity while honoring the resin in its entirety, both restorative and aromatic.

Unlike most frankincense products on the market, we use a frankincense resin extract rather than essential oil or a simple infused oil, both of which contain very little boswellic acids. This approach allows for a higher concentration of boswellic acids and ensures they are carried through into the final product.

Frankincense + Myrrh Resin Extract

We hydro-distill whole resins to release the gum, then extract the remaining resin to concentrate oil-soluble boswellic and commiphoric acids. These resin-derived compounds are traditionally valued for calming visible inflammation, supporting skin renewal, and improving the appearance of fine lines and uneven tone.

Bakuchiol (Nature’s Retinol) – 2%

A plant-derived retinol alternative shown to support collagen, smooth fine lines, and refine texture without the redness, peeling, or sensitivity associated with traditional retinoids. Suitable for daily use, morning and night.

THDA (Vitamin C) – 5%

A highly stable, lipid-soluble form of vitamin C that supports brightness, firmness, and an even-looking complexion. THDA integrates into the skin’s lipid layer for gradual, sustained activity rather than surface irritation.

Sea Buckthorn Oil

Resin vs Essential Oil
Most people don’t realize that frankincense essential oil contains only a tiny fraction of the beneficial compounds found in frankincense resin. During distillation, less than 5% of the resin becomes essential oil—the rest, including the valuable resin acids (like boswellic acids), is discarded as waste.

Why This Matters
This isn’t just wasteful—it also places enormous stress on frankincense trees, many of which are already at risk from overharvesting to meet the growing demand for essential oils. By relying only on essential oil, we pay more and get less, while putting the trees and their ecosystems in danger.

How to Use

Gently shake the bottle. After cleansing and toning, apply a few drops of Eternal Youth Serum to your face and neck on lightly damp skin. Applying on lightly damp skin helps oil absorb and seals in hydration. Gently massage or press it into the skin, allowing it to absorb fully. Follow with a moisturizer, if desired.
