One targeted facial serum with a second life as a conditioning beard oil.
Wildwood begins with jojoba slowly infused with Douglas fir needles, whole frankincense resin, and calendula. This concentrated botanical base is elevated with 1% purified bakuchiol and 5% stable, oil-soluble vitamin C to visibly support smoother texture, more even-looking tone, firmness, and healthy radiance, without the harshness of a traditional retinoid.
Lightweight squalane and marula soften the skin, while jojoba helps condition coarse facial hair and nourish the skin beneath the beard. Astaxanthin, rosehip, vitamin E, and rosemary extract provide additional antioxidant support.

Our Process
Douglas fir needles, whole frankincense resin, and calendula are infused separately into jojoba to capture a broader range of each plant's oil-soluble compounds.
The infusions are carefully strained and blended with lightweight botanical oils. Only after the base has cooled do we incorporate purified bakuchiol, stable THD vitamin C, astaxanthin, vitamin E, and rosemary extract. Every batch is blended and bottled in small quantities to protect freshness and ingredient integrity.
The Formula + Ingredients
Whole-Plant Extraction Base
Wildwood is built on three separate in-house jojoba infusions. Douglas fir needles are harvested and slowly dried on our Oregon homestead. Whole frankincense resin is prepared using our resin method. Calendula is grown and dried in our own garden.
Gentle Targeted Actives
1% Purified Bakuchiol is a clinically studied, plant-derived retinol alternative that helps visibly soften fine lines, smooth uneven texture, and support firmer, more resilient-looking skin, with better tolerance than conventional retinol.
THD Ascorbate Vitamin C at 5% is a stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C selected to visibly brighten uneven skin tone, improve the appearance of dark spots, and support a firmer, more radiant complexion.
Barrier-Supportive Lipids + Antioxidants
Olive-derived squalane and marula oil replenish the skin with lightweight, biomimetic moisture that absorbs without a greasy finish.
Rosehip seed oil and astaxanthin contribute carotenoids and essential fatty acids that support visible radiance and resilience.
Vitamin E and rosemary extract help protect the formula's delicate botanical oils from oxidation while contributing additional antioxidant support.

The Ritual
After misting with Step One, Wildwood Toner, massage one to two pumps over slightly damp face and neck.
For the beard, warm one to two pumps between the palms and work through facial hair, pressing the serum into the skin beneath. Comb or smooth through to distribute evenly.
Use morning and evening. During the day, follow with sunscreen. For the full ritual, finish with Step Three, Wildwood Tallow Balm.
